Namaste Blissful YOU!!

Welcome to my blog!! Now what?? Oh yes, Im supposed to enlighten you on a “regular basis” about all things Blissful right? Well what the heck is bliss all about? Well you might have an idea but we will explore it more in upcoming posts. And although I’ve been resistant to having blog, I am truly excited about the new possibilities that are forming and how the yoga community is evolving and uniting through online media. I can now be fully honest (yes its satya in action ;) and admit I was hesitant to having a blog because that would require me to be disciplined about writing regularly. Thankfully, I am doing a 6-week Bootcamp with Damaris of Insight9, which has helped me deal with my discipline issues really quick. Read more in the next post "Blissful in Bootcamp??".

My highest intention is that this blog can be a growing resource for you and ME to enjoy more blissful moments everyday, embodying peace, radiance and love in abundance. In addition it will give me an outlet for all my experiences, discoveries, musings, and pontification as I maneuver myself through the river of life and delving deeper into the healing power of yoga in its many forms. Sometimes life flows steadily and full of grace as if no negativity could touch me.  And then there are periods of challenge where I forget the light that once burned so bright. As practitioners of Yoga (Sanskrit for union; to join) we are always reminded to honor these dual aspects of our beings - the darkness as well as the light, if we are going to experience true liberation or jivamukti. In honoring our true Self, there is no room for doubt, limitation or suffering...only an infinite capacity for ananda,  or bliss.
